Tribratanews.kaltim.polri.go.id, Balikpapan – Direktorat Lalu Lintas Polda Kalimantan Timur melalui Subdirektorat Keamanan dan Keselamatan (Subdit Kamsel) melaksanakan kegiatan Polantas Menyapa dalam rangka program Polisi Sahabat Anak (Polsanak) di Aula SDIT Al-Auliya Kota Balikpapan, Senin (2/2/2026) pagi.

Rangkaian kegiatan diawali dengan sambutan Kepala SDIT Al-Auliya, dilanjutkan sambutan IPTU Yusriansyah. Selanjutnya, para siswa menerima edukasi lalu lintas yang disampaikan oleh Ditlantas Polda Kaltim bersama PT Jasa Raharja, dengan metode yang komunikatif dan mudah dipahami anak-anak. Peristiwa itu terjadi pada Senin, 2 Januari 2026, sekitar pukul 09.00 WIT di Jalan Seradala Km 03, Distrik Dekai, Kabupaten Yahukimo, Papua Pegunungan. Korban diketahui bernama Daniel Datti, SE (41), kelahiran Makale, Toraja, yang saat kejadian tengah bekerja membuat perlengkapan meja dan kursi sekolah.

Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan medis, korban mengalami sejumlah luka serius di bagian kepala, punggung, dan kedua lutut. Selain korban jiwa, insiden tersebut juga disertai pengrusakan kaca ruang kelas XII SMP YPK Yakpesmi serta kerusakan kaca belakang sebuah mobil berwarna merah akibat lemparan batu.
